First download the mod.
Second put it in the MAINTA or MAINTT folder.
To take it off take it out of the file.

Generally, maps go in the main, mods go in the mainta(tt). Some map/mod combos go in the mainta(tt) but those are usually conversion mods from AA such as the 1936 mod, the Halloween Fun Mod from Reds Box and so on.
